Small Business Gift Guide 2018

One thing I am hugely passionate about is supporting small businesses, whether this is small independents on your high street or artisans, makers and gift shops online, I believe that supporting small is the way to go!

There are so many amazing small businesses and choosing who to include in this gift guide was so difficult! However I have managed to decide on some of my favourites and have wrote this post to share them with you.

First up is the amazing Lauren Aston Designs. Lauren creates a variety of chunky knit goods, from blankets to Santa hats, there is a great selection to choose from. Lauren also offers DIY kits, so if you know someone who loves craft and might want a go at knitting their own blanket, her knit kits would make a wonderful gift!

Next I have the wonderful Stash Haberdashery. Libby creates beautiful boxes filled with haberdashery such as ribbon and buttons. They are a must have for any crafter and they also make the perfect stocking filler! Stash Haberdashery also donate 10% of their profits to charity as a way of giving back, you can read who they are supporting on their website.

Thirdly I have these beautiful makeup bags from Old Flour House. Alex makes a variety of women's accessories and gifts, and one of my favourites has to be this makeup bag! I feel it would be perfect for any makeup lover and there are so many different designs available, I think my favourite has to be this sausage dog one!

Next I have a natural skincare company called Sweet Cecily's. I purchased some of their lip balms as Christmas presents last year and had such positive feedback from the people I gave them to I had to include them in this gift guide! They have a great selection of products including lip balms, hand creams, and body scrubs. Although my favourites have to be their gift sets as I feel they are perfect for Christmas presents! They also offer some Make Your Own gift sets for anyone who would like to have ago at creating their own skincare!

I also wanted to include the amazing Bloom Boutique in this gift guide. I have received one of their necklaces as a gift before and I absolutely love it, I have also purchased some of their jewelery as Christmas gifts this year! I love how they can be personalised as I think it makes such a thoughtful present!

Finally I thought I would be cheeky and include one of my newly launched Mini Easel Desk Calendars in the gift guide! They are available in 3 different designs and include 12 calendar cards each with a different quote and a mini easel to stand them on. I think they make the perfect Christmas present for a friend or family member, or could also make a great stocking filler!

I really hope you have enjoyed reading through this gift guide and that it gave you some ideas on where to buy those final Christmas gifts! I really want to encourage as many people to support small businesses and whether this is through purchasing something, following them on their social media, or just by sharing their creations it is all hugely appreciated and the person behind the business will be so grateful!

I hope you all have had a lovely Monday!
